New from Anchor Hocking comes the first double walled insulated glass water bottle on the market. Like Pyrex® glass, it is made from borosilicate glass, a strong glass known to be resistant to extreme temperatures and chemical erosion. It comes with a green plastic lid and a wide opening for easy cleaning. The lid screws on and is made with a sliding piece on top that opens or closes for drinking, or you can unscrew and remove the entire cap for drinking directly from the glass rim. This is a splash proof lid, not leak proof and a vent hole in the lid allows for an easy flow while drinking. The lid is made from polypropylene #5 (which contains to added BPA) with an inner silicone gasket ring to help seal the screw-on cap. This glass bottle has a sturdy, not a delicate, feel to it. Will not condense on the outside of the bottle in hot weather. This insulated bottle is manufactured in China in a factory that is ISO compliant (International Standardization Organization) in addition to having other Worker Certifications. Fits into standard cup holders. 8 1/2" tall x 3" wide, and holds 18 fluid ounces.
