ChicoBag™ reusable shopping bags have been around for a while and we are finally glad to be offering this handy little bag because of its new and improved quality: "rePETe Original" is made from recycled materials - no virgin petroleum product used in this fabric! The style of this bag is exactly the same as the "Original" ChicoBag™, but now this new product is made from recycled PET (the plastic often used in soda bottles, polyethylene terephthalate). It takes SEVEN recycled soda bottles, saved from the landfill, to make ONE ChicoBag™. Each colorful ChicoBag™ is made from 100% recycled PET fabric, and other components of the bag are made from recycled content, as well. The carabiner is made from 97% recycled aluminum, the attached cord is also from 100% recycled PET, and the cordlock is from recycled polyurethane. Only the thread, screen print, and the care label are made from virgin materials. Just toss the little bundled ball of ChicoBag™ into your purse or clip it to your pack and you will never be without a shopping bag when you suddenly need one. Simply pull apart to undo the little bundled bag from itself to use, and then re-stuff it like a sleeping bag back into its little pouch when you are done using it. Remember to toss the little ChicoBag™ back into your purse so that you'll have it when you need it the next time.
